Retrobots invading Roswell, New Mexico!

You won’t want to miss this amazing ‘curious collection’ of retrobots at Roswell’s newest museum -the Miniatures and Curious Collections Museum (MCCM), 320 N. Richardson – beginning June 29, 2018.

Vintage toy robots, rockets, saucers, astronauts, spacemobiles and moviebots!

A selection from the personal collection of Howard Vasquez, Carlsbad, NM. Howard has been collecting since the late 1990s, finding treasures at yard sales, secondhand stores and even a missing arm on E-bay. His collection includes tin and early plastic toys from Japan, Germany, Russia, Romania, Korea and the United States, starting from the late ‘40s.

MCCM Mission and Features:
To preserve a permanent collection of quality miniatures and tell the story of their makers, to continue the craft of miniature making and foster appreciation, and to entertain visitors with rotating exhibits of curious collections. MCCM features miniature room boxes, houses, and group displays; individual items such as Julie Hinkle’s Poco Pots; a dollhouse play area for children; a gift shop; miniature workshop and meeting room area.

Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30, 3-9 p.m.
Sunday, July 1 thru Thursday, July 8, 3-8 p.m.
Friday, July 6 thru Sunday, July 8, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
