The Roswell Incident: Then and Now ~ Dennis Balthaser

Roswell resident, investigator, lecturer, and journalist Dennis Balthaser has been sharing his research about the Roswell Incident, Area 51, underground bases, and the Great Pyramids of Giza for the past 13 years. His presentation will furnish the audience with a detailed history of who was stationed at the RAAF in 1947, at the time of the Roswell Incident. He discusses the various crash sites referred to over the years, and who was involved in the cover-up, including accounts of some of the first-hand witnesses. He will also share information pertaining to the four excuses given by the Air Force. He will also share personal experiences he has had dealing with the Air Force in 1997. He will conclude by allowing the audience to decide what they believe happened on a ranch near Roswell in 1947.

Roswell: Proof Beyond a Reasonable Doubt ~ Ken Storch

Ken Storch has been in law enforcement for over 25 years. His interest in UFOs began in the 1960s while he worked for the USAF Strategic Air Command. Ken approaches the Roswell Incident as he would any crime or suspicious event. His approach will be based on facts supplied by the government and agreed upon fully by both skeptics and believers that prove beyond a reasonable doubt that something really special crashed in the desert. His approach convinced him that ET is here, and he was a skeptic himself until he took up a law enforcement approach to the incident. Ken will also talk about the constitutionality of the lies told by the government.

The Socorro UFO Incident of 1964: Some Scientific Considerations

Almost 17 years after the 1947 UFO crash at Corona, north and west of Roswell, New Mexico, on 23 April 1964 just outside Socorro, New Mexico, there occurred one of the best-attested UFO cases in history, with highly competent witnesses including Socorro police officer Lonnie Zamora and a number of New Mexico State Police officers. Dr. Burleson, MUFON State Director for New Mexico and an experienced UFO investigator and a professional mathematician, has examined the details of this classic case with a view to drawing well-supported conclusions about the radiation occurring in the arroyo where the egg-shaped craft landed. The evidence strongly suggests that this craft was extraterrestrial. It is one of many contact incidents that followed in the modern UFO era, and which may have Roswell as its linchpin.

James Clarkson

Roswell, Wright-Patterson AFB, and June Crain

In 1997, as preparation for the 50th Anniversary of the Roswell UFO crash went forward and public excitement began to grow, the USAF published the second of two 1990s reports purported to finally and fully explain the incident. In Ocean Shores, Washington, an elderly woman, June Crain, decided enough was enough. Four Years earlier she had attended a UFO lecture at the public library, and approached the presenter, an off-duty police sergeant, James Clarkson. She said to him, “You’re right; the government knows all about UFOs.” He asked her how she knew, and she replied, “Because I worked there.” When pressed for more information, she stated, “I can’t talk because they’ll come and arrest me.” June Crain had worked at Wright-Patterson AFB from 1942 to 1952. She knew the standard write-ups used in response to letters inquiring about UFOs. She knew the Air Force was covering up the Roswell and other UFO crashes. She heard about the 1997 report claiming to be the official true explanation of Roswell. She called James Clarkson, and said, "It’s a damned lie!” When asked why she had changed her mind, June replied, “I’m 72 years old; I’ve outlived two husbands and my cancer is in remission. What are they going to do shoot me or put me in prison; I can do either one.”

This presentation tell June’s story with documents proving that she had been assigned to various laboratories at WPAFB. She knew a Master Sergeant who reported a crash with bodies flown from New Mexico to Dayton. The sergeant claimed that the craft was not a conventional plane and the bodies were not human. She was shown a piece of “memory metal,” and invited to tear it up, cut it, or try to destroy it. She could not do anything with the feather-light metal, and she never forgot just how strange it was. While investigating the circumstances surrounding what June Crain reported, the same locations are always linked together: WPAFB, the Battelle Corporation in Ohio, and New Mexico, more especially Roswell. James Clarkson’s presentation ties the Roswell crash to the broader history of UFO phenomena since 1947, and relates it to the revelations made by extraordinary background witnesses to key events.

The 509th Bomb Wing’s Connection to the Crash at Corona and the Incident at Exeter

This is the Roswell story part two --- when the 509th arrived on the New Hampshire seacoast in 1958 and stayed for three decades. After the 509th arrived, the UFOs followed them to the “Atomic Triangle” --- Pease Air Force Base, the Nuclear Naval Shipyard (the first nuclear sub – Swordfish – was launched in August 1958, the same week the 509th arrived), and the controversial Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant --- all within twenty miles of each other. From that point in time, a plethora of UFO phenomena blossomed. A solid case will be presented that materials recovered at Corona were developed, tested, and perfected by the 509th at Pease AFB, in New Hampshire, resulting in the B2 stealth spirit bomber and other craft using anti-gravity technology. The presentation will include fresh, interesting, well-researched new material compiled for my new friends in Roswell and is presented by Peter Robbins. This account brings together Stanton Friedman’s Roswell related findings with those of Raymond Fowler and John Fuller.

How the Roswell Incident Took UFOlogy to a New Level

Karyn Dolan’s presentation will address the question of ‘why are we here?’ for attendees to the Roswell UFO Festival who are not aware of the extensive history of UFOs. Karyn will present early evidence of UFO sightings, including early paintings and written accounts, leading up to photographic evidence from the pre-digital era. She will show how the Roswell Incident, and the actions of officials involved, caused many private individuals to conclude that something was being hidden from them. This resulted in a new age of UFO investigations, in which authorities were beginning to be seen as adversaries, and their very resistance encouraged the kind of inquiry they were hoping to prevent.
