Are you prepared for the 24th Annual Alien Chase?

The City of Roswell Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the Alien Chase Saturday, July 7.

The Alien Chase features a 10K run, 10K walk, 5K run, and a 5K walk. Participants in each race will compete in nine age divisions for men and women. The 10K races will start at 6:45 a.m. and 5K races will start at 8:15 a.m. at the Roswell Adult and Recreation Center at 807 N. Missouri Ave.

Age divisions are 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Overall men’s and women’s winners in each race will receive awards. First- through third-place finishers in each age group will receive medals. Commemorative T-shirts will be given to all participants and drawings for door prizes will take place following the races.

Entry forms are available at the Adult and Recreation Center or online at athlinks.com. Registration on race day will be from 6 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. at the Adult and Recreation Center. Packet pick-up will be July 6 at the Adult and Recreation Center from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. or on race-day morning from 6 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Registration cost for each race is $35 through May 31. Cost is $45 June 1 through July 6, and $50 on race day. Costs include chip timing.
